Are you in a band?

Friday 11 January

Are you aged under 18 and in a band?  Do you live in Manchester? Do you want to perform in a new piece of theatre at Contact?

Quarantine, one of Britain's most distinctive creators of new theatre, is currently seeking a band in the Greater Manchester area, to provide some music and perform in its next co-production with Contact : Old people, children and animals.

The show will be performed at Contact in Manchester and Tramway, Glasgow in June 2008. 'Old people, children and animals' will be rehearsed for seven weeks from 21st April prior to the shows at Contact.  Acting experience is not necessary.

If you are a band (any musical style considered) aged around 16 - 18 years old and could make yourselves available to work full time on the project for 9 weeks, then Quarantine would like to hear from you. This is a professional contract at entry level - fees will be paid.

We are also looking for dancers over 65 based in the Greater Manchester area.
