Eurocultured 2007 witnessed the UK debut of Andalucian spraycan artist Belin, a local living legend in his region and now the talk of Mancunian street art heads mesmerised by the sheer skill and twisted photo-realism of this unique talent.
Belin's exhibition previewed at the Sketch City event at Contact Lounge on Sunday 21 October and ran until February 2008.
Belin launched the exhibition with live graffiti where you could see the techniques used, and also meet the man behind this new phenomenon of spray can creations.
No stranger to using buildings as canvasses, Belin has made his home town of Linares, Andalucia his own personal gallery, where the walls of people’s homes, businesses, bars and even the local town hall are covered with his artwork.
