Foremost Brazilian performer Gustavo Ciriaco will be offering small groups of people the chance to bond inside a band – a rubber band, as they are taken on a guided Odyssey through some of Manchester’s most interesting and elusive locations.

Inspired by the long tradition that links walking to the production of thought and awareness, the two performers will take you on a surprising journey through the city.

Before the walk, Gustavo will visit Manchester and select a number of spots which he thinks are hidden gems – previously over-looked places full of character and personality. He is interested in locations that say “Manchester”, those parts of the city that are rich with stories and intrigue.

Twenty people each time will then participate in this bonding / banding adventure, and join him on his journey. The participants will also encounter subtle site-specific performances and staged events along the way, as the route springs to life!

Meeting Point at Contact Box Office – please note, this guided walk will last approx one hour.

Bring your friends! Show your Here While We Walk ticket at the Contact Lounge afterwards to claim one free drink each for you and your group.
